The front end of the revenue cycle encompasses all Patient Access services. These are tasks performed pre-arrival to the time of admission: scheduling, authorizations, pre-registration, financial counseling, upfront collections, medical necessity, notification of admissions and registration

Mid Revenue Cycle

Mid Revenue Cycle is built to precisely extract data that can be swiftly audited as needed. The steps involved in this process were supported by technology which allow staff to quickly examine data to confirm both revenue integrity on the front end and on the back end of the revenue cycle.

Back End Revenue Cycle

The back end of the revenue cycle consists of all patient accounting services. The tasks performed after discharge to the time it takes for final account resolution include billing, collections, insurance follow up, cash posting, bad debt/charity write-offs and denials management.
